Almost on the last leg of our journey!! Sitting at a café in Phnom Penh airport waiting on our flight to Hong Kong to start boarding.
Time really has flown by, can’t believe it’s been four weeks already!!!

HELLO
Been super busy! Been to Da Nang, Hoi An and Nha Trang since the last update! We’re now in Sai Gon (Ho Chi Minh City) and tomorrow will be our last proper day in Vietnam, before going to Cambodia (Siem Reap) on Monday.
Haven’t been able to upload any pictures yet, I do apologies, but aforementioned, we’ve been really busy! Hopefully we’ll be able to post some when we get...

HUE
After the most HORRENDOUS TWELVE HOUR bus ride we’re finally in Hue! The people at the hotel, Tran Ly, are actually the sweetest and most helpful we’ve met so far! Got a drink when we arrived and the receptionist gave us a map of the citadel and told us about the different tours!
Tomorrow we’ll either go on a boat to see the river and the royal tombs or take a trip to DMZ...

We paid 1,400,000 Vietnamese dong to rent a boat for JUST Lisa and I. That’s £40! FOR FOUR HOURS ON A MOTHER FUCKING BOAT.

Everything was good after all
Had the most AMAZING boat trip around Ha Long Bay! The weather cleared up as we got to the bay and we decided to get on a boat. SO WORTH IT. Also got to see a grotto (which was straight out of Doctor Who with the weeping angels!!!) that was absolutely stunning! And spending time on the deck in the sun was glorious!!!!

So. It’s become evident that I’m not the best at booking hotels. The first one had beetles eating my bedframe and this one could easily be in a horror movie. Deserted, creepy noises and we’re the only two guests here… People, even. On the upside- no, there isn’t any. Weather is horrendous in Ha Long Bay so we’re stuck inside! :S

....og syd for Da Nang ligger Hoi An, som skulle være en særlig oplevelse da man hvis ikke må køre i bil, og lidt som vores Skage, ved ikke om det er pga de gamle huse.
Desuden hvis det er muligt skal man tage til Angkor, så kan kan se solopgangen,...

We have arrived!!!!!!! Am currently chilling in the hostel room enjoying the CHILLY 25degrees air condition as opposed to the nearly 30 outside (plus the humidity is INSANE). We had a mix up with the hostel, they didn’t have our booking, but a nice taxi driver helped us and in the end everything got sorted :) -Louise

Seems we’ve got everything packed now, just waiting for the cab and then we’ll be off to the airport! Nerves and excitement have finally started to set in!!!

Last night in London!
Just finished booking the hostels for our trip, got some cheap ones, but fingers crossed they’ll be nice! Lisa has packed most of her things, though her bed is still a mess ;) We still need the last bits and bobs tomorrow and then we’re all set! Excitement is slowly setting in, but don’t think it’ll feel real until we’re actually on the plane tomorrow evening.
